May I ask if I put this 50mm thickness mat on the floor and put Treadmill. when I run will the below unit hear me?
50mm might be overkill for treadmill. It also depends on your treadmill, new treadmill comes with suspension nowadays.
Hi, I am intending to lay gym mats on the floor of my gym room. Sitting on it would be a squat rack. Please advise if the rubber mat or this high density mat would be more adequate. Also, the thickness of the mat that I should consider, thanks!
Hi Sir, both mats should be adequate for the squat rack. First, you need to decide on the area you wish to cover. if you prefer the entire room or an area, or just below the squat rack. Secondly for thickness, if it's just to prevent your floor or vinyl from damage, 6mm pre-cut suffice. However, if you prefer your gym room to be more aesthetic, I would recommend custom size mat (similar to what you see in a commercial gym). Note, if you are using for deadlift, you may also want to consider 2 more square tiles. See you this weekend for a review of your gym room :)
